On My Way . . .

I had a cheeky little post written about how I’m leaving for Jamaica tomorrow for two and a half weeks for school credit. It included the lovely fact that the high temperatures in Kingston right now are around 85 degrees and the lows are around 78. It conveniently left out the fact that there are lots of mosquitos and we have to take cold showers.
The things is. I’m not very good at looking forward to traveling. I know I’ll enjoy it once I get there, but I find it difficult to be excited about the lack of comforts I take for granted here. Like hot water. But more like internet and phone access.
So. I kept the picture from my cheeky little post, though that’s not where we’re staying, but this is my more honest ‘I’m leaving for Jamaica for a month, see you in February’ post. Have a good month!

I look forward to hearing more about your trip. I’ve never been to Jamaica, but I have a lot of Jamaicans in my church and I feel the need to go there someday.
