My New Blue Belle

After much coveting, and discussing finances, I finally found my bike yesterday. It is a beautiful blue bike. We found it at a local bike shop. I rode it around the neighborhood twice, compared it to other bikes, and confessed that this was the one. Adam said I could get it even though he didn’t find his perfect bike yet.

It is practically perfect in every way. The gear shifts are still dial ones versus the quick shift, but it might have been too perfect (or too expensive) to have it any other way. All it needs now is a pretty basket to go on the front and I’ll be good to go.

The trick now is to go out and ride even though it is chilly. It’s too beautiful to keep it inside though, so I think I’ll be riding (at least to campus and back).
