Most Productive Day Ever . . .

March 11, 2006

Adam and I don’t always get the most work done when we’re together, which bodes well for living together next year and being in school . . . hmm. Anyway, we bucked that trend today by having the most productive day ever. We’ve been putting a few things off for quite some time now and today we just crossed every single one of them off those never-ending lists we keep keeping. Things like . . .

  • booking a room for our honeymoon (um, this one took f o r e v e r )
  • finding (finally) wedding bands we both like (or I should say Adam finally found a wedding band he likes. I found one months ago . . .
  • rewrote the majority of the wedding ceremony in the book of common worship to be more inclusive all the way around.
  • we got 2 $40 chairs at REI for $2 – mm hmm.
  • Oh, and some homework.

There you have it. The most productive day ever. Beat that.

I’d love to see your inclusive ceremony. I’m always interested to see how people bridge the gap between preserving the beauty and historical significance of liturgy and making it align with their beliefs.
