Good . . . So Good

It’s reading week here at lovely Columbia and I am celebrating by doing lovely things. Like sleeping in, and baking bread (all by myself) and repotting plants, and enjoying this wonderful new magazine.

Having called recently to unsubscribe myself from all unnecessary catalogues and such (for the good of the trees), I felt okay about subscribing to Good Magazine, especially since all the proceeds go to a charity of my choice. Hella yeah. (yes, I did just use the word hella, uh huh). Plus, the magazine is full of very cool stuff. Articles on justice and consumerism, graphs on the cost of making a penny (more than a penny by the by), ecologically sound ideas and projects and the like. It’s awesome. A lot of it’s online, so you should definitely look there. But, since it’s only $20 to subscribe and it all goes to a charity, you should probably just do that as well, and maybe give it as gifts for Christmas for all your friends and families. Just an idea.

So, until I settle on further topics for posts, I point you to a lovely source of reading . . .
